About
History
Peter Hoffman began his career as a maker of western boots with a retail location in La Jolla, California called Kitshickers. In the late 1980's through the early 1990's Hoffman moved his operation to San Francisco.
Hoffman has over 25 years experience in working with exotic skins and leather. As the urban cowboy trend began to wane, Hoffman moved back to La Jolla and put his expertise into the making of belts and accessories for the couture industry there.
Now with retail stores lining up to carry his exclusive belt and accessories collection, Hoffman can barely keep up with the demand for his unique products.
Products
Peter Hoffman Design creations are bold, monumental and masculine and definitely makes a statement on anyone who chooses to wear them.
Peter Hoffman Design products are all 100% handmade utilizing complete single piece skins & leather whenever possible.
Peter Hoffman Design collection pieces are hand cut from a single skin, utilizing the most desirable areas to fully accent the product.
Each piece is subjected to a multiple step process before actual construction can begin, ensuring the durability of the finished product.
One simply cannot find this level of quality and workmanship in machine made products.
Innovation
With a solid foundation in traditional manufacturing methods, Hoffman set out to find ways to distinguish his products from the crowd.
Hoffman introduced the tapered shaping of belts and a multiple stage construction process which voids the need for machine stitching seen in all machine manufactured products today.
Peter Hoffman Design was the first to introduce the radius cut belt for ladies. A radius cut belt uses more material than the traditional straight cut, but provides superior fit and comfort.
